Join us for a vibrant two-day conference jointly hosted by the Leverhulme Research Centre and the AIchemy Hub, taking place on 29–30 June 2026 in the iconic Spine Building, Paddington Village, Liverpool.
Across two packed days, the conference will explore emerging research at the AI–chemistry interface, spanning topics from computational and experimental materials design, intelligent automation and robotics, to data-driven discovery and the broader societal context of AI-enabled science.
You’ll hear from leading invited speakers, bring together researchers, innovators and industry partners working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, chemistry and materials discovery. Explore cutting-edge research through poster sessions, and take advantage of valuable networking opportunities with peers across disciplines. A conference dinner on the evening of Monday 29 June is included for registered delegates.

Call for Poster Abstracts
We warmly invite delegates to submit poster abstracts showcasing their research. Posters may be presented in digital format, offering an opportunity to highlight new ideas, early-stage work, and collaborative research aligned with the themes of the Leverhulme Research Centre and AIchemy.
Poster abstracts should relate broadly to research areas including:
- AI and machine learning for chemistry and materials discovery
- Computational and experimental materials design
- Automation, robotics and digital laboratories
- Data standards, datasets and digital infrastructure for chemical research
- Interdisciplinary approaches at the AI–chemistry interface
Abstract submissions are now open as part of the conference registration process with a deadline of 30th April 2026
